  • Are you ready to make a difference in healthcare? At Mediq, you can work in various customer service departments, such as diabetes, wound care, respiratory care, infusion care, and stoma & incontinence. You do not apply for one specific department. During the application process, we look at your experience, personality, interests, availability, and preferences. Together, we determine which team suits you best and where opportunities are available at that time. Depending on your department, you assist patients and healthcare professionals by phone and in writing, process and adjust orders, answer questions about products and deliveries, and carefully process data in various systems. Medical knowledge is not required; you will learn that during your training period. After an extensive training period of 6 to 8 weeks, during which you work at least 36 hours per week, you will start according to your agreed contract hours.

We offer

  • • A gross monthly salary of approximately €2820 based on 40 hours; • 8% holiday pay and an additional annual payment of up to 7.5%, depending on individual performance and objectives; • 25.5 vacation days based on 40 hours; • €0.23 travel allowance per kilometer up to a maximum of 50 km one way or full reimbursement of public transport; • Free parking at Mediq in De Meern; • After the training period, hybrid working: 2 days a week at the office and the remaining working days from home. Friday is a fixed work-from-home day; • A laptop, headset, and extra monitor for home; • Room to further develop yourself and grow within Mediq; • A job where you contribute to better healthcare every day.

We ask

  • • You have at least an mbo working and thinking level; • You are communicatively strong and speak and write good Dutch; • You enjoy having a lot of phone contact and feel comfortable in conversations with different types of people; • You are customer-oriented and empathetic: you listen well, ask questions, and remain calm and professional even in difficult situations; • You think in solutions and take responsibility to handle a customer query properly; • You work accurately and administratively carefully, as you work with patient data, orders, and other important information; • You are digitally skilled and can easily switch between different systems; • You are eager to learn and can quickly acquire a lot of new information about products, processes, and medical devices; • You have an affinity with healthcare and find it important that your work means something to others; • Experience in customer service, telephone customer contact, or service is a plus, but motivation and the right attitude are just as important; • After the training period, you are available 24 to 40 hours per week; • You are available for 36 hours per week during the first 6 to 8 weeks for the full training period, regardless of the number of hours you will work afterward.

Mediq has various customer service departments, including wound care, diabetes, respiratory care, infusion care, stoma & incontinence, and other medical aids. During the application process, we get to know you better. We look at your experience, qualities, interests, availability, and which type of customer contact suits you. Based on that, we discuss together which department best fits and where opportunities are available at that time. You are involved in answering questions via phone, email, and other channels, processing and modifying orders, providing information about products and deliveries, carefully registering customer and patient data, investigating questions and finding suitable solutions, liaising with colleagues and healthcare professionals, and identifying special circumstances and ensuring proper follow-up. You do not need to have prior knowledge of medical aids. During the extensive training program, you will learn everything about the products, systems, and processes of your department.
