- As a customer service representative at Mediq, you are an essential point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals. You answer questions, process orders, and ensure that people receive the right aids at the right time. Mediq has various customer service departments, including wound care, diabetes, respiratory care, infusion care, stoma and incontinence, and other medical aids. During the application process, we get to know you better. We look at your experience, qualities, interests, availability, and which type of customer contact suits you. Based on that, we discuss together which department best fits and where opportunities are available at that time. You are involved in answering questions via phone, email, and other channels, processing and modifying orders, informing about products and deliveries, carefully registering customer and patient data, investigating questions and finding suitable solutions, liaising with colleagues and healthcare professionals, and identifying special circumstances and ensuring proper follow-up. You do not need to have prior knowledge of medical aids. During the extensive training program, you will learn everything about the products, systems, and processes of your department.
We offer
- • A gross hourly wage of €16.27; • 8% holiday pay and an additional annual bonus of up to 7.5%, depending on individual performance and objectives; • 25.5 vacation days based on a full-time contract, with the option to purchase additional vacation days; • A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, up to a maximum of 50 km one way, or full reimbursement of public transport travel; • Free parking at Mediq in De Meern; • Hybrid working after the training program: 2 days per week at the office in De Meern and the remaining workdays you may work from home. We ask
- • Minimum mbo working and thinking level; • You want to work 24 to 40 hours per week after the training period; • You are available for 36 hours per week for the first 6 to 8 weeks for the training program, regardless of the number of hours you wish to work afterward; • You communicate well in Dutch; • You enjoy telephone customer contact; • You are customer-oriented, involved, and solution-oriented; • You work accurately and can switch well between different systems; • Experience with customer service or healthcare is a plus; • You have an affinity with healthcare.

Customer Service Specialist De Meern
As a Customer Service Specialist, you are responsible for handling customer inquiries and order processing for business clients, such as hospitals and healthcare institutions. You work 28 to 40 hours per week in the institutional department of a large healthcare organization in De Meern. The contact is exclusively with companies, not with patients. You independently handle both regular and more complex customer inquiries.
On a workday, you answer emails and phone calls from customers, process orders, and provide advice where needed. You handle questions ranging from simple order status to complex delivery issues. You are also responsible for identifying improvement opportunities in processes and supporting less experienced colleagues where needed.
This job offers the opportunity to further develop towards expert level. After a six-week training period, during which you are available 40 hours per week, you can partially work from home. Emphasis is placed on independence, ownership, and the ability to think in terms of processes.
