- As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you are a crucial point of contact for both existing and new customers. You listen attentively to the customer's needs, think proactively, and ensure that requests are carefully processed. You guide orders from the initial request through to production and work closely with colleagues from production, logistics, and planning. Although you don't need to be a specialist in wood at the start, curiosity and a willingness to learn are important. You will gradually gain more knowledge about types of wood, treatments, cubic meters, and linear meters. In addition to your office duties, you will regularly have the opportunity to visit customers and attend trade fairs, keeping you informed of market developments and actively building your network. In this role, you maintain daily contact with existing customers, actively approach potential new customers, and build long-term and professional customer relationships. You map out customer needs and translate these into suitable solutions, prepare quotes, and actively follow up on them. You conduct price negotiations where necessary, identify market developments, and recognize commercial opportunities. You accept orders and accurately process them in the system, representing the organization at customers, trade fairs, and other relevant events. You make calculations and price estimates, translate customer requests into clear and executable production orders, monitor the progress of ongoing orders, and keep an overview of quotes and projects. You coordinate with production, logistics, and planning and ensure that agreements made with customers are met. In this position, you have the space to develop into an independent and trusted point of contact for customers. As you gain more knowledge of the products and organization, you will take on more responsibility. You understand customer inquiries well and can translate them into a suitable quote or order. You think commercially, maintain an overview, and do not lose sight of the customer relationship. We ask
- • You have MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level; • Preferably, you have experience in a commercial role; • You have an affinity with wood, technology, or building materials; • You are good at math and have a knack for calculations and figures; • You are communicatively strong and customer-oriented; • You take initiative and feel responsible for your work; • You can work well independently but also actively seek collaboration; • You have a good command of the Dutch language; • Knowledge of the German and/or English language is a plus due to international customer contact.
