As an Aftersales & Service Employee, you are the central point of contact as soon as a service or warranty question arises. You listen carefully to the customer, investigate what is going on, and determine what next steps are necessary. You not only look for a good solution for the customer but also keep the organization's interests in mind. You handle service and warranty requests, process claims and returns, and ensure everything is properly documented administratively. Is a visit from the service technician needed? Then you schedule the appointment and ensure an efficient route. You keep customers informed and coordinate internally with the right colleagues to handle a request as quickly as possible. Sometimes multiple issues occur simultaneously, and one customer may be in more of a hurry than another. You know how to prioritize, remain calm, and ensure that agreements are met. Do you notice that certain service questions recur or that a process can be improved? Then your input is highly valued. This is not a standard customer service role. You are responsible for the entire service process and are daily engaged in organizing, planning, communicating, and solving.
