Transitional arrangement in case of decline

Image

What is changing?

For temporary workers who temporarily experience a decrease in pay due to the new collective labor agreement, a transition arrangement of six months has been agreed upon. During this period, they will retain their current employment conditions such as vacation days and holiday allowance.

What does this mean in concrete terms?

Due to the new rules regarding equivalence, some temporary workers may initially earn less (not 8.33% holiday allowance but 8%) or receive 20 vacation days instead of 25. Therefore, a transition arrangement of 6 months has been agreed upon. During this period, temporary workers will retain their existing employment conditions. This applies to temporary workers who were already working under the "old" collective labor agreement on December 31, 2025, and would be disadvantaged by the new agreements.
