Als transportmedewerker in Amsterdam werk je in een dynamische logistieke omgeving. Je diensten variëren van 9:00 uur 's ochtends tot 3:00 uur 's nachts. Als je met het openbaar vervoer reist, werk je tot 23:00 uur. Je werkt tussen de 16 en 30 uur per week. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het klaarzetten van orders, het opbouwen van pallets en het ondersteunen bij het laden van vrachtwagens. Het werk is fysiek, dus je bent veel aan het lopen, tillen en stapelen. Je werkt op verschillende afdelingen, zoals expeditie, bakverwerking of de koelcel, wat je werk afwisselend en actief maakt.

Elke dag is anders. Je begint met het verzamelen van orders en het opbouwen van pallets. Rond 16:00 uur start de route-uitzet, waarbij je routes klaarmaakt voor de chauffeurs. In de avond help je bij het pendelen en het beladen van vrachtwagens. Werk je bij de koelcel, dan zorg je dat gekoelde orders op tijd vertrekken. Als kring sorteerder verdeel je samen met je team de pallets en controleer je de orders voor de juiste route. Je werkt altijd samen, dus het teamgevoel is groot.
