  • As a Logistics Supervisor, you play a crucial role in ensuring an efficient and effective flow of goods within the warehouse. You directly manage 2 to 5 employees and indirectly oversee approximately 100 to 150 FTEs during shifts and peak times. You act as an important link between operations, your team, and management. You maintain oversight, monitor progress, and ensure that agreements with the customer are met. Your tasks include leading, coaching, and guiding your direct team, coordinating daily activities according to planning and customer agreements, and monitoring performance, quality, and safety. Additionally, you identify bottlenecks and propose improvements, report results, and monitor budgets. You actively contribute to process optimization, automation, and improvement projects, ensure correct administrative processing in the warehouse management system, participate in customer meetings, and contribute to good service delivery. Finally, you ensure compliance with procedures, regulations, and safety guidelines. You work in a 2-shift system: week 1 from 06:00 to 15:00 and week 2 from 15:00 to 00:00.

We ask

  • • A completed relevant education at least at MBO+/HBO level or demonstrably comparable work and thinking level; • Experience in the logistics sector and with warehouse management systems; • Experience with Microsoft Office and preparing reports; • Experience with automation, process optimization, and/or improvement projects; • You are socially skilled, flexible, and have a strong sense of responsibility; • You have a minimum B2 level of Dutch language proficiency; • You also have a good command of the English language; German is a plus; • You are willing to work in a 2-shift system and, if necessary, on weekends; • You are VCA certified or willing to obtain it; • You are BHV certified or willing to obtain it; • A VOG is required prior to employment.
