Co-driver Almere

Are you ready to take logistics operations to the next level? As a Team Leader Logistics, you are responsible for the daily management of your team. You ensure that the work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to plan. You are visible on the work floor, maintain an overview, and set the right priorities. You motivate and guide employees, monitor progress and quality, and are the point of contact for your team. Additionally, you identify bottlenecks and actively think about improvements within the operation. You form the link between the work floor and site management. Your tasks include managing, guiding, and motivating 7 to 20 employees, coordinating and prioritizing daily tasks, monitoring safety, quality, and productivity, identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvement suggestions, guiding, assessing, and developing employees, ensuring correct administrative processing in the warehouse management system, ensuring compliance with procedures and quality and safety guidelines, acting as a link between the work floor and site management, and contributing to good cooperation and further team development. You work in an environment with mainly small consumer goods and a relatively fast flow of goods, which requires a different dynamic than broad bulk storage. You work in a 2-shift system: week 1 from 06:00 to 15:00 and week 2 from 15:00 to 00:00.

As a Driver C, your workday starts at 06:30 at the branch in Almere. You check the truck with your colleagues, review the route, and then set off. You drive to various hospitality businesses, event locations, cinemas, and other business clients. There, you deliver drinks, take back empty packaging, and have a chat with the customer. You are on the road a lot, work independently, and know how to get things done. No route is exactly the same, but one thing is: you ensure that the customer can count on you. Sometimes you drive with a co-driver, sometimes independently. Around 15:30, your workday is usually over, and you can enjoy a free afternoon.
