With your attention to detail and communication skills, you ensure that our packages smoothly and timely reach their destination. A varied job with plenty of responsibilities, right in the middle of our dynamic operation! A workday as a Counter Staff Member starts with a briefing, so you know exactly what's happening that day. Then you check all systems and start processing incoming packages. You keep in touch with drivers and ensure that all shipments are correctly registered and labeled. If something is not right, you intervene immediately. Is a driver arriving with a full load? You coordinate the unloading and check the freight bill. Later in the day, you jump in as a "runner" and manually scan packages or supervise transport on the premises. In between, you liaise with colleagues about process improvements. At the end of your shift, you neatly hand everything over to your colleague in the next shift. No day is the same, but your focus remains: ensuring all packages go out quickly and without problems! Where will you be working?

PostNL is the logistics market leader in the Netherlands. Our sorting center in Born is an important link in our network. Within our E-commerce Operations department, you work together with drivers, deliverers, and logistics colleagues to get packages to our customers on time. You report to the Logistics Manager and act as a point of contact on the work floor. In this role, you alternate tasks behind the counter with physical tasks, ensuring our process runs smoothly.
