  • Are you an experienced Case Manager Absence and available for a temporary assignment? For DHL Express, we are looking for an interim professional to strengthen the HR team for approximately 1 year. In this role, you will independently manage absence processes and share your knowledge and experience with two junior case managers. A great opportunity to make a direct impact within an international organization. You are responsible for guiding employees during their absence and reintegration process. You maintain contact with employees, managers, the company doctor, and the occupational health service, draft action plans, and monitor progress and legal deadlines according to the Gatekeeper Improvement Act. Additionally, you advise managers on absence, prevention, and sustainable employability and ensure correct and complete dossier building. Your base is Schiphol, but you will work at various DHL locations. Together with the team, you will coordinate weekly where your presence is needed. You have the option to work 32 or 40 hours. Much of the consultation takes place online or by phone. Therefore, this position suits someone who is flexible, enjoys working independently, and can easily switch between different locations and tasks. The working days and hours are flexibly coordinated in consultation. However, it is important that you can join the weekly online team meeting on Monday. Are you an independent, analytical, and communicatively strong case manager who quickly finds their way within an organization? Then we would love to get in touch with you!

We offer

  • • Salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month (pro rata); • Weekly extra allowance of 6.24% on top of your salary (collective labor agreement à la carte); • Good pension and vacation hours arrangement; • Travel allowance; • Choice of 32 or 40 hours per week; • Temporary employment contract of approximately 1 year; • Flexible working hours in consultation; • Dynamic working environment at Schiphol; • Opportunity to gain experience at a large, international organization; • Pleasant collegial atmosphere and a professional HR team.

We ask

  • • Higher professional education level, preferably HRM or Labor & Health; • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Case Manager Absence or a similar role; • Good knowledge of the Gatekeeper Improvement Act and absence legislation; • Experience with HR and absence systems (such as AFAS, SAP); • You can coach and guide junior colleagues; • You are independent, analytical, and have integrity; • Experience in logistics or an international environment is a plus; • You have a driver's license B and own transport (useful for locations outside public transport).
