  • Make a difference behind the scenes at Mediq! Are you precise, analytically minded, and someone who likes to investigate things down to the smallest details? Do you love structure, clear processes, and administrative challenges? Then this position is for you! As a Backoffice Employee at Mediq in De Meern, you work 32 to 36 hours per week and earn €16.27 gross per hour. In this role, you are an important link behind the scenes of healthcare. You are mainly involved in checking, assessing, and processing medical requests, insurance data, and associated documentation. You check and process medical requests, authorizations, and insurance documents. You assess whether requests meet the applicable conditions and guidelines. You identify errors or missing information and independently seek solutions. You carefully process and monitor data in SAP and other systems. You liaise with health insurers, prescribers, healthcare professionals, and internal departments. You handle substantive questions and work with reports and worklists. This is certainly not a standard administrative role where you simply enter data. You will deal with various insurance conditions, guidelines, exceptions, and administrative procedures. It is up to you to carefully assess information, make connections, and identify any deviations. You will receive an extensive training program of about 6 weeks. You will learn the systems, processes, and different types of requests step by step. Patience and eagerness to learn are extremely important here. You don't have to understand everything immediately, but you must enjoy delving into something and persevering when things get complicated. We are looking for someone who naturally works in a structured and careful manner. Someone who prefers to double-check rather than overlook an error, enjoys working according to clear guidelines, and derives satisfaction from fully and correctly completing a request. You will join a committed team where colleagues help each other and where you have the opportunity to develop into a true specialist within the back office. Thanks to your efforts, requests are handled carefully, and patients can rely on the medical aids and support they need. Are you patient, analytical, eager to learn, and do you derive satisfaction from unraveling administrative issues? Then we would love to meet you!

We offer

  • • A gross hourly wage of €16.27; • A part-time employment of 32 to 36 hours per week; • 8% holiday pay; • 25.5 vacation days per year based on 40 hours, with the option to purchase extra days; • An annual bonus of up to 7.5%, depending on individual performance and objectives; • Hybrid working after your training: at least 2 days in the office and up to 2 days working from home per week; • Friday is a standard work-from-home day; • A laptop and extra monitor for your home workspace; • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, up to a maximum of 50 km one way; • Full public transport reimbursement and free parking; • An extensive training program that prepares you well for your tasks; • Ample training and career advancement opportunities; • A pleasant, informal working atmosphere where your personal development is central.

We ask

  • • You have an MBO working and thinking level; • You have 1 to 5 years of experience in an administrative or back office role; • You are available 32 to 36 hours per week; • You work accurately, structured, and easily maintain an overview; • You are communicatively strong and effortlessly switch between different tasks and colleagues; • You think in solutions, take initiative, and handle tasks independently; • Do you have an affinity with healthcare? Customer Care - De Meern

As a customer service representative at Mediq, you help people who depend on medical devices. This makes your work a bit different from a regular customer service role. The patient waiting for important devices, a healthcare professional who needs to arrange something quickly, or someone who is uncertain about an order: you ensure they can move forward. You listen carefully, ask the right questions, and find out what is needed. Sometimes the answer is simple, sometimes a situation requires a bit more investigation. You process orders, check data, provide information about products and deliveries, and coordinate with colleagues or healthcare professionals when necessary. You work carefully because behind every order or question is someone who needs care. Within Mediq, there are various customer service teams, for example, for wound care, diabetes, respiratory care, infusion care, and stoma & incontinence. Each department has its own patients, products, and type of customer contact. Therefore, you do not apply directly to one specific team. During the application process, we look together at your experience, qualities, and interests. What gives you energy? What type of customer contact suits you? And in which team do your qualities come into their own? Based on that and the available opportunities, we determine which department is the best match. In your work, you are involved in: • Helping patients and healthcare professionals by phone and digitally; • Processing, adjusting, and following up on orders; • Answering questions about products, devices, and deliveries; • Carefully processing patient and customer data; • Investigating problems and providing a suitable solution; • Coordinating with colleagues and healthcare professionals when necessary; • Noticing special circumstances and ensuring that agreements are followed up. No experience with medical devices yet? No problem. At Mediq, you will receive an extensive training program where you will gradually get to know the products, systems, and processes of your department. This way, you not only learn a new role but also contribute to something important every working day: ensuring that people receive the devices and support they need.
