As a Customer Service Employee at the Municipal Information Point, you are the first point of contact for residents of Zoetermeer. You work 20 hours a week in the city center. As an operator, you work in a dynamic production environment within the fresh produce sector (potatoes, vegetables, and fruit). You play a crucial role in the sorting process of avocados and mangoes, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You start your first week on the sorting line to get to know the process well. Here, you sort fruit based on ripeness and gain insight into the work of the sorting staff. After this induction period, you will be paired with a buddy who will further guide you until you can work independently. Your tasks include working on the sorting line during your induction period (sorting by ripeness), receiving and processing production orders via the computer, translating production orders into concrete instructions for the sorting staff, managing the sorting belt with approximately 7 employees, and monitoring the quality and progress of the production process. You have a varied role in which you both collaborate and lead, continuously switching between planning, execution, and team coordination. You work 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday, occasionally on a Saturday. The working hours are from 06:45 to 15:30, sometimes extending until the work is completed.
