The team is a mix of colleagues who have been working here for years, interns, and holiday workers. What characterizes your way of working? The excellent service! You go that extra mile for customers. For example, by showing someone how to attach a bike carrier. You also help each other. You practice the insurances with your colleague until you are confident enough to sell them yourself. And in between, there's, of course, time for a joke. You have an interest in travel and know how to inspire customers in this area. You listen actively, offer suitable solutions, and get energy from customer contact. You inform and advise customers about our products and services, from a toll vignette for Austria to a bike carrier and from an international driving license to a backpack. You open the store in the morning and close it again in the evening. Is the supervisor absent? Then you have the responsibility. You give the team a briefing and distribute the work. You ensure the store always looks tip-top and work with a shelving plan. The fun part is that you respond to different activities each season. In the summer, camping items and in the winter, snow chains and ski clothing! You unpack deliveries in the store or in the warehouse. You follow training in sales techniques and conversation skills, as well as e-learnings to get to know our insurances and other services well.

As a medical coder, you work in The Hague within a project team that compiles statistics on causes of death. You work 32 hours a week. Your work is crucial for improving healthcare in the Netherlands. You translate medical information from doctors into international codes, ensuring that the figures on causes of death are accurate and up-to-date. On an average workday, you start by processing new forms. You read the statements, recognize medical terms, and link them to the correct codes. You enter data into the computer and consult with colleagues if you are unsure about something. You identify bottlenecks and contribute ideas for improvements. You also share your knowledge with the IT team. Together, you ensure that the systems work better and better. You get energy from working accurately and enjoy coding medical data.
