The team is a mix of colleagues who have been working here for years, interns, and holiday workers. What characterizes your way of working? The excellent service! You go that extra mile for customers. For example, by showing someone how to attach a bike carrier. You also help each other. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you are the driving force behind the daily activities on the shop floor. You ensure efficient scheduling of rosters, provide solutions for customer inquiries, and support the branch manager with various tasks. You assist in executing the branch plan and achieving objectives. Additionally, you lead and motivate the store staff, organize work schedules, and distribute tasks. You guide and train new and existing employees, manage inventory, and place orders. You also ensure a clean and organized store with well-presented products. Actively working on the shop floor and responding to customer needs is also part of your duties. You assist in handling complaints and improving customer satisfaction. Finally, you oversee compliance with safety, hygiene, and work processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements, perform administrative tasks, and timely post vacancies in collaboration with recruitment.

As a warehouse team leader, you are present on the work floor daily, where you maintain close contact with employees and closely monitor the processes. You intervene directly where necessary and ensure optimal collaboration between the warehouse, the store, and the pickup service. This way, customers can always count on excellent service and will never miss out. You organize the morning briefing for the three warehouses and efficiently allocate employees and resources based on peak times, such as deliveries, conversions, and customer pickups. You manage fillers and warehouse staff, ensure a safe, neat, and organized work environment according to the 5S principles, and hire and properly train new employees. You coordinate the unloading of freight, conduct quality checks, and record these in WMS/ERP. You resolve discrepancies immediately in collaboration with the logistics center. You monitor stock availability and replenishment towards store teams and quickly respond to seasonal demand, such as garden items, barbecues, and swimming pools. You plan and monitor setup projects, such as lawnmowers and barbecues, and check product information and safety before items go to the store. You accelerate the pick and stage process for large items like garden sets and ensure error-free preparation for customer pickup and transport. You identify bottlenecks, initiate improvement actions, and ensure a well-functioning process. Finally, you supervise the use of forklifts and other equipment and recognize unsafe situations that you correct.
