For Renewi in Zoeterwoude, we are looking for a Transport Planner. In this role, you ensure that vehicles and routes are deployed as efficiently as possible and that the daily transport planning runs smoothly. You prepare the daily planning for vehicles and routes. You monitor the progress of the planning and adjust when the situation requires it. You ensure optimal use of equipment and take into account capacity, efficiency, and customer agreements. You maintain contact with drivers and operational colleagues about the execution of the planning. You respond to unexpected situations, such as changes in routes, additional assignments, or delays. You check and process administrative data and time registrations. You identify improvement opportunities and actively contribute to improving logistical processes. You ensure compliance with safety regulations and site rules. You work closely with fellow planners, drivers, the Transport Team Leader, and the Head of Transport.

What will you do?

Are you physically strong, do you like to take action, and do you enjoy going out with colleagues? Then this position as a mover is for you! As a mover, you work with an enthusiastic and experienced team on various relocations for individuals and companies, mainly within the Netherlands. You depart in the morning with your colleagues from the base to the location where the move takes place. Depending on the customer's wishes, you help with disassembling and packing furniture and other belongings. Then you carefully load everything into the moving truck. Upon arrival at the destination, you ensure that the items are neatly unloaded and help with the correct assembly and placement of the furniture. You work with professional tools, such as hand trucks and moving trucks, allowing you to perform the work safely and efficiently.

Your tasks

  • You assist in carrying out relocations for individuals and companies;
  • You disassemble and assemble furniture;
  • You carefully pack and unpack belongings;
  • You load and unload the moving truck;

Working days and hours

You mainly work from Monday to Friday. The usual working hours are from 07:00 to 17:00. Since no move is the same, it is important that you are flexible. Therefore, it may occasionally happen that you work in the evening or on weekends.
