Support Worker EMB Vries

As a support worker EMB in Vries, you assist people with severe multiple disabilities. You work between 24 and 36 hours per week. You provide structure, safety, and a familiar atmosphere. You help clients in their daily lives, such as getting up, washing, and dressing. Some clients go to day activities, while others stay at the residence. You have a lot of contact with family, making your work varied and personal. Your day starts with a handover from colleagues. Then you calmly make contact with the residents. You assist with ADL tasks, supervise breakfast, and pay close attention to clients' signals. You adjust your pace and always ensure clarity. You support clients who are wheelchair-bound or need extra care. You also consider visual or hearing impairments. In the afternoon, you guide activities and ensure rest and relaxation. You coordinate with colleagues and provide feedback to family. At the end of your shift, you hand everything over to your colleagues. This work requires calmness, overview, and an involved attitude.
