  • As a side loader driver in Emmen, you will go out daily to collect household waste and garbage. You usually work from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 16:30. We are looking for someone who is available 4 to 5 days a week, occasionally on a Saturday. During the summer period, it is extra busy, so it is helpful if you are flexibly deployable and preferably do not take vacation during school holidays. You work with an enthusiastic team and ensure that Emmen and the surrounding area remain clean. On an average workday, you start early with your colleagues. You check your vehicle, get in, and drive along the route according to the schedule. You operate the side loader and ensure that the waste is collected safely and neatly. Sometimes you help at other locations, such as Hoogeveen or Coevorden. You communicate well with your team and think along if something goes differently than planned. Do you also want to work in the winter? Then you participate in the gritting services. You are on standby every other week and receive an extra allowance for this, even if you are not called upon.
