  • Are you ready for a dynamic role as a Side Loader Driver in Emmen? You are responsible for collecting household and commercial waste in the region. You work between 27 and 45 hours per week, mainly from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:30. Sometimes you work on Saturdays, always in consultation with the team. Summer is the busiest period, and we are looking for someone who can work fully during this time. Vacation outside school holidays is negotiable. Your day starts early at the base with your colleagues. Then you drive a fixed route with the side loader, empty containers, keep in touch with planning, and switch smoothly between different streets and addresses. Sometimes you help at another location if needed. In the winter months, you can participate in the winter services, for which you receive extra compensation, even if you are not called upon. We ask

  • • You have at least 1 year of work experience as a driver; • You hold a C driver's license and Code 95 (practical and theory); • Experience with side loaders is a plus; • You speak good Dutch; • You are flexibly deployable, also on Saturdays and during winter services; • You preferably have a VCA certificate (or are willing to obtain it); • You are willing to work occasionally at other locations; • You live in the Emmen region and have your own transport (public transport is difficult).

Side Loader Driver

As a side loader driver in Emmen, you will go out daily to collect household waste and garbage. You usually work from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 16:30. We are looking for someone who is available 4 to 5 days a week, occasionally on a Saturday. During the summer period, it is extra busy, so it is helpful if you are flexibly deployable and preferably do not take vacation during school holidays.
