Field of expertise

Store

  • As a sales assistant at ANWB, you help customers in the store and answer their questions. One moment you are advising a family going on a camper trip in North America, the next moment a group of young people planning a city trip to Athens. You inform customers about various products and services, from travel insurance and toll vignettes to hiking boots and earplugs for festivals. Unsure about something? Then ask a colleague for help. You keep the store tidy and adjust it based on the shelving plan. Each season the collection changes, so in the summer you display camping items and in the winter ski clothing and snow chains. You unpack deliveries in the store or in the warehouse. In your first month, you receive training in sales techniques and communication skills and learn all about our products and services. This way, you are well-prepared to help our customers.

We offer

  • • Gross hourly wage between € 16.14 and € 18.29 (based on 38 hours and including a year-end bonus of 5.58%); • Pension scheme; • Discount on various ANWB products and services and plenty of training, education, and development opportunities at our ANWB Academy; • Commuting allowance: travel allowance of € 0.23/km (bike/walking), 100% public transport 2nd class, € 0.20/km car (max 65 km one way).

We ask

  • • Unpacking, presenting, and selling items: that's your forte; • You enlist the help of colleagues when needed and enjoy delving into new products or services; • You can work standing for at least six hours a day; • You have an mbo-level education and are flexible in working hours and locations: you can also work on weekends and are fine with stepping in at other stores in your area. You receive your schedule at least four weeks in advance; • Availability: 8 to 16 hours per week, for the shopping evening and weekend; • Stepping in at other branches in the region.

Sales Advisor ANWB The Hague

As a Sales Advisor at ANWB in The Hague, you are the point of contact in the store. You listen to the customer's wishes, provide personal advice, and ensure that someone leaves the store with the right products and services. No day is the same, and it's precisely this variety that makes your work enjoyable. You are mainly involved in advising and assisting customers. You think along about what someone needs and provide appropriate advice on products and services. Think of a toll vignette for Austria, a bike carrier, an international driving license, travel items, or a backpack. But you do more than just sell. You help customers on their way, answer questions, and support colleagues when they can't figure something out. Together, you ensure that every customer is well and pleasantly helped. Additionally, you ensure that the store looks neat and organized and help with unpacking and processing deliveries in the store or warehouse. The assortment changes with the seasons. In the summer, for example, camping items are central, while in the winter, you help customers with, among other things, snow chains and ski clothing. This way, you continuously acquire new products and knowledge.
