Are you the person who ensures that every shipment is administratively correct? Then we are looking for you! Due to increased demand, we are seeking an Administrative Assistant Inbound to temporarily strengthen our Customer Service Inbound team. If you are precise, administratively strong, and energized by managing and monitoring logistical processes, we would like to meet you. In this role, you ensure that incoming international transport shipments are processed administratively correctly and prepared for further distribution. You closely monitor progress, identify discrepancies, and proactively communicate with customers and colleagues. As an Administrative Assistant Inbound, you are an important link within our transport operation. You ensure that shipments are correctly entered into the systems, the right documentation is available, and any discrepancies are quickly addressed. Your tasks include: • Administratively processing and checking incoming shipments and transport documentation; • Registering shipments with recipients and processing transport information in our systems; • Performing administrative and planning activities around incoming shipments; • Monitoring timely and correct order processing; • Identifying and following up on discrepancies, such as damaged goods, incorrectly loaded trailers, or missing information; • Maintaining contact with customers, international colleagues, partners, and distribution centers about the status of shipments; • Processing return shipments; • Reporting operational discrepancies at trip level. You work with various computer systems and have a lot of contact with colleagues inside and outside the Netherlands. No day is exactly the same: you keep an overview, set the right priorities, and ensure the process continues.
