  • As an order picker at the flower auction in Aalsmeer, you work in logistics and ensure that flowers and plants quickly reach the right customers. You start your workday early: at 06:00 you are ready on the work floor. The workdays last an average of 4.5 hours. After that, you are free for the rest of the day! This makes the job perfect if you are looking for flexibility or like to keep afternoons for yourself. You can indicate on which two (or more) weekday mornings you want to work. Your workday begins with collecting a cart full of flowers. You distribute these flowers and plants over the customers' carts, according to the instructions you receive via your headset. With an electric tug (no driver's license needed), you drive through the auction and deliver everything neatly. You transfer the plants and flowers onto the correct carts so they can reach the buyer on time. You also perform extra tasks, such as checking orders and managing customer carts. You work in a large team, but you perform your tasks independently. You are very active: ideal if you like to stay busy. Experience is not necessary. We will teach you everything you need to know. We offer

  • • Hourly wage of €16.60 gross; • Workdays of an average of 4.5 hours; • 10 to 23 hours per week, part-time; • Flexible working hours in the morning, afternoons free; • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer; • Holiday pay on top of your salary; • 5 times a year free flowers or plants; • Internal training and guidance; • Working in a committed team at the largest flower auction in the world.

We ask

  • • Vmbo working and thinking level; • You are at least 18 years old; • You are at least 1.65 meters tall; • You can do physical work and lift containers; • You speak good Dutch or English; • You can be in Aalsmeer at 06:00; • You are available at least 2 mornings per week; • You can work for at least 7 months; • You can provide a VOG (we pay for this); • You work accurately, independently, and customer-oriented; • You are stress-resistant and involved.
