Production

  • As an Operator Baking Oven Conveyor, you are responsible for producing specialized conveyor belts for, among others, the food industry. You set up machines, monitor the production process, and check the quality of the final product. Your tasks include setting up and operating production machines, working according to customer orders and technical drawings, performing assembly and installation tasks, welding and assembling belt parts, checking quality, performing preventive maintenance, and solving minor mechanical malfunctions. This is not a standard operator position. Technical insight is important because you work with machines that are sometimes about 40 years old. You work Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:45 and on Friday from 07:30 to 11:45.

We ask

  • • You have technical insight and an affinity for technology; • You are practical and hands-on; • You can work accurately and independently; • You have a good command of the Dutch language due to safety regulations; • A VMBO-T or MBO education is desired; • Experience as an operator is not a strict requirement; technical affinity and insight are more important; • Preferably, you live within approximately 30 minutes travel time from Panheel.

Where will you be working?

You will work at a specialized metal company in Panheel that produces conveyor belts for, among others, the food industry, automotive, and heavy industry. You will join an experienced team where craftsmanship, reliability, and old norms and values are important. New employees are extensively trained. You will receive about a year of guidance and a fixed 1-on-1 buddy.
