  • Are you ready for a challenging role as a disaster cleaner? In this position, you are responsible for cleaning up after industrial disasters, such as fire, water damage, or smoke and soot damage. You work at various locations, from supermarkets and business premises to warehouses and other industrial sites. You remove soot, dirt, and damaged materials and thoroughly clean different spaces and surfaces. You use professional cleaning agents and personal protective equipment. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the affected location becomes clean, safe, and usable again. How does the disaster pool work? • You have guaranteed hours; • You do not work at the same location every day; • From the pool, you are sent to different disasters. An assignment can: • Last a few days; • Last a few weeks; • Last a month or longer. You must therefore be flexible and enjoy working regularly in different places. Stay during longer assignments • Is an assignment more than 1.5 hours drive from your home? • And does the assignment last a long time? • Then a hotel or holiday park is arranged for the duration of the assignment; • Food and drinks are also arranged; • During longer projects, you are on location with your colleagues. This often creates a strong team feeling. Working hours • The work is generally between 07:00 and 16:00; • You must be flexible with working hours; • Disasters cannot always be planned; • Flexibility is therefore important.
