Care
As a guide LVB in Smilde, you work 24 to 36 hours per week. You help people with intellectual disabilities and complex problems. You provide structure and a safe environment. This makes your work not only important but also very valuable.
Your day starts with the handover from colleagues. Together you discuss where extra attention is needed. Then you guide clients in their daily routine and encourage their independence. You sometimes support one-on-one, sometimes a group. For example, you help start the day program and support activities. Some of the clients go to day care, where you sometimes also help. You remain alert to moments of tension and respond calmly and clearly. You receive guidance from your team manager and treatment manager. Your opinion counts when drawing up treatment plans.
This is a job where you really make a difference. You work in a close-knit team with a lot of knowledge. Does this challenge suit you? Then apply quickly and contribute to the positive development of the clients!
