Extra@Home is the specialist in sorting and distributing large and heavy packages, such as furniture, white goods, and bicycles. Think of products that weigh more than 30 kg or have dimensions that do not fit in the standard Parcel network (larger than 176 x 78 x 58 cm). To ensure these deliveries run smoothly, all shipments at Extra@Home are carefully sorted by distribution type (1-man or 2-man delivery) and efficiently routed. Customers can choose from threshold service or top service, depending on their delivery preferences. To elevate the operation to an even higher level, we are looking for a Supervisor Logistics for PostNL Extra@Home Amersfoort. You are the driving force behind an efficient depot, a strong team, and an excellent customer-oriented operation. As a Supervisor Logistics, you have a job with impact. The way you manage the process ensures that the depot remains safe, efficient, and reliable. You are responsible for the daily management and monitoring of all logistics processes, from sorting to distribution. You provide functional leadership to all logistics employees and coordinators. Your days are always dynamic. You ensure that the goals in terms of efficiency, quality, customer orientation, safety, and personnel performance are met every day. You create a pleasant and safe working environment where your employees can grow. You are closely involved with your team: you conduct performance and appraisal interviews and manage absenteeism. You monitor KPIs closely, identify deviations, and make decisions when there are disruptions in the process. You coordinate daily with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure that contract agreements and performance are secured. You strictly oversee compliance with laws and regulations, safety guidelines, and standardized work agreements. You are actively engaged in continuous improvement: you participate in PDCA and LEAN processes, conduct audits, and ensure the implementation of improvements.

As a Coordinator Logistics, you are responsible for managing various subprocesses at the depot, such as sorting, distribution, returns, and cross-dock. You lead a team of logistics employees and guide them based on performance and behavior. You monitor the progress of the processes, analyze deviations, and intervene to meet the daily schedule. You focus on key KPIs such as efficiency, quality, customer orientation, compliance, and sustainability. In the absence of the Logistics Supervisor, you make important decisions during process disruptions. You hold daily meetings with the Logistics Supervisor, Depot Manager, and fellow coordinators. You ensure that contract and work agreements are adhered to and escalate in a timely manner if they are not. Additionally, you ensure a safe and positive working environment and compliance with occupational health, environmental, and safety regulations.
