As a Support Worker EMB in Groningen, you guide children and young people aged 4 to 20 with a Severe Multiple Disability. You work in small-scale residential homes with a maximum of six clients per group. The atmosphere is calm, and there is hardly any aggression. You start your workday with a handover from colleagues. Then you help clients with getting up, dressing, and breakfast. You perform nursing procedures if necessary. As a residential counselor EMB in Groningen, you guide residents with moderate to very severe intellectual disabilities on a daily basis. You work 24 to 32 hours per week. Together with your colleagues, you provide a familiar daily structure, which offers peace and safety for the residents. You help them experience their day as pleasantly and independently as possible.
