Assembly Mechanic

Are you a technically strong leader with experience in a production environment? Do you have knowledge of mechanical systems such as hydraulics and pneumatics and can you engage in substantive discussions with technicians? Then this position as Head of Technical Service in Dordrecht is for you. You work full-time in a modern production environment, lead a compact technical team, and are responsible for the technical continuity of the factory. In return, you receive an excellent benefits package, including a 13th month and at least 37 days off. As Head of Technical Service, you lead four technicians and a work planner. You are responsible for the maintenance of the machinery, minimizing malfunctions, and maximizing production output. You are not only the manager but also the technical content sparring partner for your team. Therefore, we are looking for someone with strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their management. Do you also have electrical knowledge or experience gained in a production environment? Then that is a big plus. You are part of the Management Team and report directly to the Plant Manager. Your day starts with a meeting with the technical service. You discuss the maintenance schedule, distribute the tasks, and determine the priorities together with the team. You coordinate maintenance, repair, and conversion work, monitor safety, and ensure that production is optimally supported. Additionally, you manage maintenance budgets, focus on preventive maintenance, and work with suppliers and other departments to continuously improve technical processes. This role combines technical depth, leadership, and strategic insight. You coach and develop your team, think about the future of the location, and actively contribute to a safe and efficient production environment.
