The role of a camping host is a job you must experience. We are looking for camping hosts who are always cheerful and good-natured, roll up their sleeves, are physically in good condition, and have an innate desire to help people. Or in our terms: give everyone the time of their life! 

We take you through a day as a camping host

20 check-outs for you and your colleagues today, a busy morning. Fortunately, you received the check-out times from the guests yesterday. This means the planning is excellently arranged, and you expect no problems. Proactive work, that's what we like to see from our hosts!

Today, the van Dijk family will also check out. They are still grateful to you for moving them to a more centrally located mobile home. Closer to the pool and the kids' animation facilities. You've got that 10 on Tripadvisor in the bag! Being there for your guests, that's what characterizes you. At check-out, you express the hope that they will return next year. Top-notch!

Time for cleaning. You are responsible for preparing the accommodations for the new guests. This means that everything must be replenished and present in the right quantity. Moreover, it must be clean for the new guests who will arrive later today.

You make a control round. You decide to go on foot instead of by bike. This way, your guests can really approach you for a conversation. Then you immediately have a contact moment for a chat to guarantee that high guest satisfaction that Vacansoleil is so well known for!

Today there are 15 check-ins. You know your target audience and adjust your information accordingly. For today, there are 3 families with children arriving at the campsite. For the kids, you have prepared an animation program and coloring pages. For all guests who will check in later, you have compiled an information folder about local attractions and restaurants that are not swarmed by tourists. You have compiled that information folder yourself and it is based on your own experiences, that works best!

At the end of a productive day, you walk contentedly to your living accommodation. Suddenly, the emergency phone rings. The guests you just checked in are calling you. The guest apologizes for disturbing you in your free time. Of course, you are always there for your guests and rush to the tent. It turns out: a fuse has blown. Fortunately, you learned how to fix this during training, and now you can perfectly put it into practice. You immediately have a moment where you can turn a complaint into a happy guest. Win-win situation!

What you can expect:

💰 Salary: Depending on age & experience

🏠 Accommodation: We arrange it for you: A bungalow tent or mobile home (possibly shared with others).

🏖️ Days off: 1.5 days per week you are free to enjoy the surroundings and test local restaurants!

📖 Training: A digital training so you are ready for a top season!

💡 A springboard to a career in the recreation sector, knowledge of the profession, and new friends!

What you need:

Languages: You speak at least Dutch and English. The more languages the better!

Personality: When you enchant everyone with a radiant smile and give guests the time of their lives. No 9-5 mentality, but a flexible work attitude. No day is the same. Perseverance: you always strive for maximum guest satisfaction.

Availability: April 2022 to October 2022 (willing to stay abroad for the entire period)

Education: No minimum education required

Where will you be working?

You will be working at one of the 550 top campsites of Vacansoleil, all located in prime locations. Here, not only will the holidaymakers have the time of their lives, but so will you!

Your guests are on vacation, so they are in a great mood. That makes your workdays pleasant as well. Together with an enthusiastic team, you contribute to a unique experience for our guests and yourself.

Working and enjoying at the same time
