As a production employee, you can work in various places in the factory. This can range from working in the warehouse, driving internal transport vehicles, to supporting a production line. No day is the same, which makes the work dynamic and challenging. Do you have a preference for a specific task and are you good at it? Then you are often regularly placed in that spot.

As an operator, you are responsible for one production line. This role requires more knowledge and insight than that of a production worker. In the first few months, you will be guided by a buddy who will teach you the ins and outs of your production line. This ensures a smooth start and a good foundation for your further development within our company.

As a production employee at Royal Smilde Oosterwolde, you play an important role in making delicious quiches, salads, and sauces. Your tasks are diverse and may include:
•    Preparing and pre-processing ingredients;
•    Processing salads on the production line;
•    Carefully packaging our products.
With your dedication, you ensure that all products reach customers with the highest quality and care. 

At Royal Smilde Oosterwolde, they train you internally so that you can work independently and professionally at your workplace. Depending on your position within the team, you might work on the quiche line or one of the salad lines. Your tasks are varied and include, among other things:
•    Filling (or refilling) the production line;
•    Setting up and adjusting machines during product changes;
•    Monitoring the production process and intervening in case of deviations.
Each workplace is unique, but one thing always remains the same: you ensure that the products meet the highest quality and safety standards for customers.

At Royal Smilde Oosterwolde, you receive internal training so that you can work independently and professionally. As a mixer, you play a crucial role in preparing the salads. You ensure that all ingredients are mixed according to the recipe, where precision is essential to guarantee the quality of our final product.
What will you do?
•    Preparation: gathering ingredients and setting up the mixer and mayonnaise dosing;
•    Mixing mayonnaise, premixes, and pre-processed ingredients according to the recipe;
•    Checking the quality of the salad;
Because this position is physically demanding, good fitness and resilience are important.

As a sauce operator, you prepare various sauces according to established recipes and process planning. You work accurately and ensure that the right raw materials are added in the correct quantities and at the right time.
You can operate the process installation independently after a thorough training period. Your workplace is your domain, and you ensure that it meets the high hygiene standards of Royal Smilde. You perform quality checks independently and assist your colleagues where necessary. 

What will you do?
•    Preparation: gathering ingredients and setting the correct parameters;
•    Preparing sauces according to the recipe while monitoring the process and ensuring the right quality;
•    Setting, converting, and resolving minor technical malfunctions in the sauce installation

Because this position requires considerable analytical ability and technical insight, we are looking for candidates with at least MBO+ working and thinking level. For this specific workplace, we have found that a good command of the Dutch language is a prerequisite.
