  • Are you a natural leader who likes to be in the middle of production? As a working foreman/woman, you and your team ensure a safe, high-quality, and smoothly running production process. You are the connecting link between the production staff and the team leader and also roll up your sleeves. You guide, coach, and motivate employees on the shop floor. You distribute the work, monitor progress, and ensure sufficient variety in tasks to limit the physical strain within the team. Additionally, you are responsible for training and further developing new and existing colleagues, monitoring production, planning, quality, safety, and quantity, and timely identifying and discussing deviations in, for example, quality, planning, or production performance. You coordinate with team leaders from other departments about production progress, handle initial questions about staffing and absenteeism, and promote the values of respect, collaboration, and ambition. You identify unsafe situations, technical defects, or risks and report them correctly. You encourage and adhere to safety, quality, hygiene, and 5S+S agreements, think about process improvements, and participate in improvement projects. You conduct safety and quality rounds and report opportunities and risks. Finally, you accurately process production data in systems and ensure a good handover during shift changes and after technical maintenance. You maintain the competency matrix and have work orders drawn up for the technical service.

We offer

Operator

Join our team as an Operator in Brunssum, where you'll work full-time in a modern bakery production environment. Collaborate with your colleagues to ensure a smooth, efficient, and hygienic production process. Your day begins with accurately weighing ingredients and combining them to create the correct dough or batter. The products are then shaped and, depending on the type, baked or chilled. No two days are the same. Every few hours, you'll switch to producing a different product. Since production is based entirely on customer orders, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with healthy time pressure. You'll set up and dismantle production lines whenever products change and ensure they're thoroughly cleaned every night—maintaining high hygiene standards is essential. In addition to operating production equipment, you'll also support the production line whenever needed. After baking or cooling, some products are sliced, filled, and assembled by hand. This artisanal aspect of the job adds variety and makes the work especially rewarding. Once completed, the products are chilled again, frozen, and shipped directly to customers. This position is ideal if you have technical insight, enjoy variety, and like working in a practical, hands-on role. You'll be given plenty of responsibility while working alongside a friendly and supportive team. With an attractive salary, shift allowance, and excellent opportunities for career growth, this is a great opportunity to build your future.
