- Are you ready to play a crucial role in the maintenance and project activities at FrieslandCampina? As a work planner, you are responsible for determining the scope, required hours, lead time, costs, and materials. You ensure safe work execution by managing work permits, procedures, and risk assessments. You request and evaluate quotes for materials and hiring, selecting the most suitable suppliers and contractors. You coordinate with production, technical services, clients, and contractors and signal when additional capacity is needed. You prioritize the work and assign it to technical disciplines while directing the planning towards technicians. You create optimal schedules for maintenance shutdowns based on critical path analysis and monitor the progress of work orders against the schedule. Administrative tasks, such as checking hours and parts administration and invoice control, are also part of your duties. You keep technical documentation and supplier contracts up to date and standardize and combine repetitive tasks in approach and planning. You initiate improvement proposals to include recurring work requests in preventive maintenance and continuously evaluate material availability, the use of external firms, and priorities in consultation with production. A typical workday begins with a check of the events of the past 24-72 hours, followed by a daily start with work planners and technicians. In the morning, you start tasks, guide technicians, and process incoming work requests. In the afternoon, you monitor progress, update administration, and prepare for the next day or week.

We ask
- • HBO working and thinking level; • Completed MBO level 4 or HBO education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Energy Technology, or Technical Business Administration; • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the process industry. Experienced technicians from a similar environment who want to grow into work preparation are also very welcome; • Experience with continuous improvement, such as WCOM, LEAN, or Six Sigma; • Knowledge and experience with maintenance management systems and methodologies, such as Ultimo, SAP, RCM, TPM; • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and quality requirements within the process industry; • Analytical, proactive, and customer-oriented with excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, at all levels; • Stress-resistant, flexible, and strong in switching; you can handle high work pressure well and maintain an overview.

Where will you be working?
In Veghel, we work with about 500 colleagues to get the most out of milk. Through a fully automated process, we extract fats, sugars, and proteins from raw milk and cheese whey. These ingredients are found in, among other things, sports and baby food, paracetamols, pastries, milkshakes, and oral hygiene products. You ensure that the right samples reach the right department or laboratory at the right time.
