  • Do you want to work 32 hours over 4 days and have every Friday off? As a warehouse employee with reach truck experience in Almere, you work from Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00. You earn €16.60 gross per hour, including 5% ADV and 2% year-end bonus. Additionally, you accumulate 8.33% vacation pay. You ensure that orders with drinks are ready for transport. Your day starts at 08:00 with a short meeting. Then you grab a hand scanner and an EPT (electric pallet truck) and get to work collecting orders. It is an active and varied job. You walk a lot through the warehouse, collect various products, and move boxes of drinks and beer kegs. Additionally, you use your reach truck experience to safely retrieve products from higher shelves and place them in the correct location when needed. We are looking for someone with reach truck experience who also enjoys working in the warehouse. So, you are not only working on the reach truck all day. Order picking, moving products, and other common warehouse tasks are just as much part of the job. Being physically active and working together with your colleagues should suit you. During your workday, you have two breaks of 15 minutes and one break of 30 minutes. Together with your colleagues, you keep the warehouse tidy and ensure that all orders are ready on time. At 17:00, your workday ends and your free evening begins. Do you have at least one year of experience on the reach truck and possess a valid reach truck certificate? We offer

We ask

    • You speak and understand Dutch well;
    • You are available Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00;
    • You have at least one year of proven experience driving a reach truck;
    • You possess a valid reach truck certificate;
    • You can handle physical work and can lift boxes of drinks and beer kegs up to a maximum of 23KG;
    • You are reliable, work accurately, and can work at a good pace;
    • You do not mind picking orders and performing other warehouse tasks besides reach truck duties;
    • Working in an environment where alcoholic beverages are present is not a problem for you;
    • Experience with order picking, a hand scanner, and an EPT is a plus.

Where will you be working?

You will be working at a large beverage wholesaler in Almere. Orders are prepared daily from the warehouse for, among others, hospitality, events, and other business clients. The company has approximately 30 to 50 colleagues. The atmosphere is informal and down-to-earth. Hard work is done, colleagues help each other, and together you ensure that all orders are ready on time. You work alternately on collecting and moving products and assist where needed on the reach truck to retrieve products from higher shelves. The location is also accessible by public transport.
