Transport Employee

As a transport employee in Amsterdam, you have a dynamic and versatile role. You work between 16 and 30 hours per week in various shifts, both during the day and in the evenings or at night. The work atmosphere is positive, and you work together with colleagues in a team. You receive thorough training so that you can quickly start working independently. On an average workday, you start by sorting and preparing orders. You ensure that all goods are placed on the correct pallets. Is a pallet full? Then you secure it and start on the next one. Sometimes you work in the expedition, sometimes by the refrigerator, or help with setting up return bins. You walk a lot, lift boxes, and work accurately. In the evening, you help with setting up routes or loading trucks. You also sometimes work as a circle sorter and ensure, together with your team, that all incoming pallets are processed correctly. You have variety and quickly learn new tasks. This job is ideal if you are physically fit and enjoy working together. You get the chance to grow, for example, by obtaining a truck certificate.
