  • As a work preparer, you are the link between engineering and production. You ensure a smooth preparation of all orders. With your knowledge of CAD/CAM, you create programs for the machinery. You program milling machines and write programs for laser cutting, laser welding, and engraving machines. Additionally, you adjust drawings for production and ensure all documentation remains up-to-date.

    Your workday is varied. You start by optimizing machine settings. Then you consult with colleagues from engineering and production. You update drawings, assist with technical issues, and continuously seek process improvements. You regularly communicate with the team and sometimes put on your work shoes to observe on the shop floor.

Where will you be working?

You will work at a family business in technology and industry. The company has about 20 employees, including 15 in production and 4 in the office. The atmosphere is informal and involved. Everyone works together to create high-quality products from sheet material. The mission is to deliver quality and innovation to customers.
