In this role, you work 40 hours a week in a dynamic environment with excellent employment conditions. Do you have a technical background or experience as a (machine) operator? Then you have the opportunity here to further develop yourself into a shovel operator. As a shovel operator in Deventer, you work on a lively site where no day is the same. Together with your colleagues, you ensure the loading, unloading, and moving of sand and gravel, with safety and teamwork always being the top priorities. You operate a shovel daily and, if necessary, a Bobcat. You load and unload trucks and ships, move materials, and ensure the site remains tidy and safe. Additionally, you check the machines and perform minor maintenance tasks, contributing to a smooth and efficient work process. Experience as a shovel operator is not required. Do you have a technical background or have you worked as a (machine) operator? Then we are happy to teach you the rest. We ask

  • • You have at least a VMBO working and thinking level; • You have technical insight or experience as a (machine) operator; • You are motivated to learn the trade and are open to internal training; • You have a good command of the Dutch language; • You have a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain it; • You enjoy working together and are a real team player; • Experience with or knowledge of maintenance on hydraulic systems is a plus; • You are willing to operate various loading and unloading machines; • You preferably live within a 20-kilometer radius of Deventer; • You have a hands-on mentality and always work safely and responsibly.
