- Are you ready to work with large machines? Become a full-time shovel operator in Deventer! You work 40 hours a week and enjoy excellent employment conditions. As a shovel operator in Deventer, you get the chance to further develop your skills. You work full-time, 40 hours a week, together with colleagues on site. You are responsible for loading, unloading, and moving sand and gravel. Safety and teamwork are paramount. Your workday consists of operating a shovel and sometimes a Bobcat. You load and unload trucks and ships and ensure everything runs smoothly and safely. You check the machines and perform minor maintenance. Every day is different, and you continuously learn. Important: a technical background or experience as a (machine) operator is sufficient to start. You don't need to be an experienced shovel operator yet.
