  • Are you ready for a challenging role as a Prep & Finish Employee? In this position, you are responsible for various preparatory and finishing tasks on technical products. You work both in the Prep and Finish departments, where you make an important contribution to the quality of our products.

We ask

  • • You work calmly, focused, and accurately; • You are physically fit and can work with products up to approximately 30 kg; • You communicate clearly when you encounter something; • You have an affinity with technology; • You can work both independently and in a team; • You have a command of the Dutch and/or English language. Experience with, for example, metalworking, surface treatment, precision mechanical work, or other precise tasks is a plus. Experience from, for example, ICT, jewelry work, or a similar work environment can also be a good fit.

Where will you be working?

Working at ERIKS in Alkmaar You will work at ERIKS, an international technical industrial service provider and wholesaler. ERIKS supplies technical components, materials, and custom solutions to various industrial sectors, including machine building, semicon, chemistry, and the maritime industry. The location in Alkmaar is the Dutch headquarters and an important production and logistics site. Approximately 450 employees work here, of which about 200 colleagues are in logistics and production. Within the location, you will find various disciplines: • Logistics: from goods receipt and storage to order picking and expedition; • Production: processing, assembling, and inspecting technical products; • Cleanrooms: assembly work under controlled and sterile conditions, among others for the semicon industry. You will find yourself in a professional, yet informal and engaged working environment. Technology, quality, and collaboration are central.

At ERIKS in Alkmaar, we are looking for a precise and technically interested employee for our Sealing & Polymer department. You will work in a dynamic team where quality and precision are central. In this role, you are responsible for both Prep and Finish. During Prep, you clean metal parts with special fluids, sandblast parts to prepare the surface, clean again, and bond with a primer. In Finish, you ice blast products as the final step of the process. You work closely with your colleagues to ensure that each product is ready for the next step in the process.
