PostNL Mail Sorter

PostNL Alkmaar is the largest mail and parcel delivery service in the Netherlands. The organization processes and delivers millions of letters and parcels daily for both private and business customers. Within the sorting center, mail items are accurately sorted and prepared for delivery. An efficient and well-organized logistics process is essential to ensure all mail arrives on time and at the correct destination.

Candidates who fit this role:

• Can work accurately and with concentration. You sort mail by street and house number, where mistakes must be avoided;
• Speak good Dutch or English;
• Can work quickly and efficiently. You work with large volumes of mail that must be processed within a certain time;
• Are physically fit. You lift and move full mail trays, bags, and roll containers;
• Can work well under time pressure. The mail must be ready on time for the deliverers;
• Are reliable and responsible. You make an important contribution to a smooth logistics process;
• Can work well together. You collaborate with colleagues in the sorting center;
• Are available throughout the entire temporary period, including the extra scheduled Fridays;
• Have your own transport. The work location is not accessible by public transport.

Willingness to work part-time. Monday to Thursday 10:30 - 15:45. This is a temporary position until week 2-2027.
