PostNL Mail Sorter

PostNL Alkmaar is the largest mail and parcel delivery service in the Netherlands. Every day, the organization processes and delivers millions of letters and parcels for both private and business customers. Within the sorting center, mail items are accurately sorted and prepared for delivery. An efficient and well-organized logistics process is essential to ensure that all mail arrives on time and at the correct destination. As a mail sorter, you work accurately and with concentration. You sort mail by street and house number, where mistakes must be avoided. You work with large volumes of mail that need to be processed within a certain time. Being physically fit is important, as you lift and move full mail trays, bags, and roll containers. You must be able to work well under time pressure so that the mail is ready on time for the deliverers. Reliability and responsibility are essential, as you make an important contribution to a smooth logistics process. Collaborating with colleagues in the sorting center is an important part of your work. You must be available for the entire temporary period, including the extra scheduled Fridays. Own transport is required, as the work location is not accessible by public transport. Willingness to work part-time is necessary. The working hours are from Monday to Thursday from 10:30 to 15:45. This is a temporary position until week 2-2027.
