Pharmaceutical Production Worker

As a pharmaceutical production worker in Alkmaar, you work at an innovative company that packages medicines for pharmacies and healthcare institutions. You work 28 to 36 hours per week, in a rotating schedule. One week you work during the day, the next week in the evening. For working after 8:00 PM, you receive a 30% extra allowance on your salary. You start in the de-blistering or validation department. Here you learn the trade and have the opportunity to advance to the PROUD department, where you work with advanced machines. You contribute to safe and correct medicine packaging for thousands of people. A job with a lot of responsibility and variety. Your workday begins with a briefing. Then you start on the line. On the de-blistering line, you remove medicines from the packaging, sometimes by hand, sometimes with machines. You weigh the pills and prepare them for the next step. In the validation department, you check if everything is correct: are the right medicines and quantities packaged? You ensure that each patient receives exactly what is needed. In the PROUD department, you work with an automated system that packages medicines per patient and per intake moment. You enter orders, monitor the process, and intervene if necessary. No day is the same! You enjoy working accurately and like to contribute to good care. You have an eye for detail and take on responsibilities.
