- As a Pharmaceutical Assistant in Groningen, you truly make a difference. You work 28 to 36 hours per week and help patients by preparing customized medication. No day is the same. You work in a professional team and have a lot of contact with other healthcare professionals. On a typical workday, you prepare chemotherapy treatments, infusions, and eye drops, among other things. You ensure that everything proceeds neatly and safely. In addition to preparing medication, you also perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling and preparing medication requests. You keep in touch with colleagues, doctors, and nurses and collect and send medication to the correct departments. You also handle on-call services.
