  • As a personal guide in Tytsjerk, you work with (young) adults with a mild intellectual disability. You work shifts of 28 to 32 hours per week. You help residents grow in independence, confidence, and stability. You do this by setting goals together and finding the right balance between structure and freedom. You provide calm and overview, support with daily tasks, and encourage residents to learn new things. You work in a small team, where collaboration is central.

    Your workday starts with a handover from colleagues. You discuss what is happening and where extra attention is needed. Then you get to work with the residents. You help with making a daily schedule, support with cooking, finances, and household tasks. You guide residents in dealing with emotions and challenging situations. You keep track of agreements and goals, and maintain contact with external parties. At the end of your shift, you ensure a clear handover to your colleagues. This way, everyone stays well informed.

As a mini crane operator, you work full-time in Gytsjerk. You are responsible for operating a modern Doosan DX27 mini crane and drive the transport truck yourself. You work independently and assist colleagues with groundwork. Every day is different: you support technicians with repairs and maintenance of pipelines and resolve malfunctions. Sometimes you are on call for emergencies, including nights and weekends. You mainly work for governments and (semi)public authorities in Northern Netherlands. Reliability and safe working are paramount. Your workday begins with picking up your mini crane and truck. You drive to the project location and coordinate with colleagues or clients. You perform excavation work, help with the installation or repair of pipelines, and assist with other tasks around the crane. You ensure that your machine remains neat and safe.
