As a package sorter, you and an enthusiastic team ensure that thousands of packages are quickly and carefully on their way. You work in the early morning and then have the whole day free for study, sports, family, or other plans.

    Your Morning at the Distribution Center

    You usually start around 05:00 and typically work until about 09:00. During this time, you ensure that the sorting process runs smoothly.

    Your tasks include:

    • Sorting incoming packages;
    • Checking shipments for completeness and damage;
    • Moving and lifting packages up to a maximum of 23 kilos;
    • Placing packages in the correct location;
    • Keeping your workspace clean and safe;
    • Collaborating with your colleagues to process all packages on time.

    Your work is active and varied. No morning is the same: together with your team, you ensure that the right packages reach their destination.

    • A gross hourly wage of € 14.99 to € 16.64;
    • A part-time job of 10 to 20 hours per week;
    • 8.33% holiday pay;
    • € 0.23 travel allowance per kilometer;

Where will you be working?

Working at GLS in Goes

You will work at GLS, a logistics organization in the transport sector. Many packages are processed daily from the distribution center in Goes. You work in an informal team of about 10 to 50 colleagues, where collaboration and getting things done are central.
