  • As an Order Picker Fresh Produce, you work at an international wholesaler in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht. You collect fresh potatoes, vegetables, and fruits for hospitality customers throughout the Netherlands. You work full-time (40 hours per week) and have day and night shifts. The salary is €15.19 gross per hour, with additional allowances for night work and on Sundays. The job is stable, varied, and you receive good guidance during your training period.

    On an average workday, you start with your colleagues in the warehouse. You receive pick lists and collect the correct products with a handheld scanner. You check everything for quality and quantity and prepare the orders for shipment. You work in a cooled environment, so you wear warm clothing. You keep the workplace tidy and work according to HACCP rules. Flexibility is important: your schedule alternates between day shifts (starting between 08:00-13:00) and night shifts (20:00-05:00). You are available from Sunday to Friday.

    • You speak good Dutch and/or English;
    • Experience as an order picker or in logistics is required;
    • You can work well in a cold environment;
    • You are accurate and enjoy working at a high pace;
    • You are physically fit and enjoy active work;
    • You enjoy working both together and independently;
    • You are flexibly available for day and night shifts;
    • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety is a plus;
    • Driver's license only needed if you cannot come by bike/scooter for night shifts.

You will work at the PostNL location at Joan Muyskenweg 150 in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht. Our team ensures day and night that all packages reach their destination on time. During the evening shift, you sort packages, manually scan large or heavy packages in the NMG department, or roll full roll containers to the place where they need to be loaded. Are you working the night shift? Then you are busy loading and unloading the trucks. You take breaks twice for 15 minutes, totaling 30 minutes.
