  • As an order picker, you work in the evening at a large logistics company in Varsseveld. You work 24 to 30 hours per week, usually between 2:45 PM and 9:00 PM. Sometimes you work until 10:00 PM or later. Your main task is to collect and prepare customer orders for shipment. You do this with a handheld scanner in the shelving area. Each station has its own shelves. Crates automatically come to your spot. You scan, fill, and push the crate further. An average workday starts with checking your workplace. Then you start collecting orders. You use a handheld scanner to see which products need to go in the crate. You walk a lot during your shift. You easily reach 10,000 steps a day! Meanwhile, you listen to music and work with your colleagues for a smooth process. You ensure that the right products are ready for shipment on time.
