- As an order picker in 's-Heerenberg, you work full-time in a modern warehouse. You start in the day shift from 08:00 to 17:00. Later, you can work in two shifts, where you receive an extra allowance of 35% if you work early or late. You grab your headset or handheld scanner and get straight to work. You collect products, check labels, and ensure everything is in the right place. The instructions are given to you in English through your earpiece. No day is the same. The work is varied, you stand a lot, and you work with friendly colleagues. Your day is active and varied. You start by collecting orders. With the headset or scanner, you know exactly what to pick and where. You check how many products you need and if the labels are correct. Then you neatly place the products in the warehouse. You help colleagues if needed, and together you ensure everything is ready on time. The atmosphere is informal and collegial, making you experience working as a team.
