As a warehouse employee in Geldermalsen, you have a varied and active job. You work full-time, between 28 and 40 hours per week. You are indispensable for the smooth running of the logistics process. Together with colleagues, you ensure that goods are delivered, stored, or shipped on time. You get the chance to take on different tasks and further develop yourself. A typical workday starts with checking incoming goods and labels. Then you help load and unload trucks. You use an electric pallet truck to place goods safely and neatly in their place. Next, you pick orders using scanners and keep track of everything in the Warehouse Management System. You perform collipick tasks and work accurately with the tablet. As a (clamp) forklift driver, you are the linchpin in the warehouse. You ensure that white goods products – from washing machines to stoves – are safely, quickly, and neatly placed. At Vonk & Co, they do this in a unique way: cold stacking. What does that mean? No pallets, no standard box work – but precise and tight stacking of white goods. That requires attention to detail, spatial insight, and a steady hand. Do you already have experience with that? Great! If not, but you are motivated and eager to learn, they are happy to teach you. Your tasks: • Loading, unloading, and moving white goods with the forklift (with clamp). If you have no experience with the clamp, you will be trained for it! • Preparing goods for transport; • Cold stacking of white goods – neatly, tightly, and without damage; • Order picking with scanners; • Working according to safety regulations; • Collaborating with colleagues in a close-knit team.
