Narrow Aisle Truck Driver

As a warehouse employee in Geldermalsen, you have a varied and active job. You work full-time, between 28 and 40 hours per week. You are indispensable for the smooth running of the logistics process. Together with colleagues, you ensure that goods are delivered, stored, or shipped on time. You get the chance to take on different tasks and further develop yourself. A typical workday starts with checking incoming goods and labels. Then you help load and unload trucks. You use an electric pallet truck to place goods safely and neatly in their place. Next, you pick orders using scanners and keep track of everything in the Warehouse Management System. You perform collipick tasks and work accurately with the tablet. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you are the driving force behind our warehouse team and ensure efficient and safe execution of daily tasks. You work in a 2-shift system and focus on improving performance, process optimization, and LEAN working. You coordinate daily tasks, monitor execution and progress, intervene in case of deviations, and provide additional instructions. You ensure optimal use of personnel capacity and plan internal logistics using the WMS system. Additionally, you solve problems and ensure that your team members are multifunctionally deployable. You actively think about improvements and implement them within the warehouse. You also hold stand-up meetings and ensure compliance with legal and company obligations, such as RI&E, HACCP, and BRC. Moreover, you are part of the emergency response structure within the organization.
