- In this role, you are responsible for designing and realizing control panels for various technical applications. You work on both basic and detailed engineering and translate 2D concepts into fully developed 3D models, including technical documentation. Your tasks include developing and milling panels, placing components, PCBs, and equipment (excluding cabling), and preparing metal and assembly drawings. Additionally, you design solutions for, among others, bridge control stations, wing stations (including IP-rated waterproof solutions), and compact panels. You coordinate with software and electrical engineers to achieve an optimal end result and contribute to the prototype development for production lines.

We ask
- • HBO/WO Mechanical Engineering or a similar education; • Authorized to work within the EU without a work permit; • Proven experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault Pro; • Experience with sheet metal design; • Experience in designing boards and cabinets for electrical installations; • Strong communication skills. Pluses • BSc Mechanical Engineering and MSc Offshore & Dredging; • 5 years of experience in Marine, Offshore, and Heavy Machinery; • Experience as a Mechanical Engineer; • Experience as a Project/Installation Engineer; • Experience with basic & detailed engineering, calculations, and structural engineering; • Experience with Inventor, Sheet Metal, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks; • Experience in designing control panels for, among others, bridge control stations and wing stations; • Experience in setting up prototypes for production lines.
