Machine Operator
As a machine operator in production in Son, you work full-time (40 hours per week) in a modern production environment. You are responsible for operating and monitoring machines and ensuring that the production process runs smoothly. Additionally, you may be assigned to pallet repair. Here, you check pallets for damage and repair broken pallets so that they are safe and usable again.
On an average workday, you start on the shop floor with your colleagues. When working as a machine operator, you set up the machines, monitor production, replenish materials, and resolve minor malfunctions. You keep a close eye on the process and ensure that everything meets the correct quality standards.
Working in pallet repair? Then you inspect incoming pallets and determine which ones are damaged. You repair these pallets and ensure they can be used safely and securely again. This is physical work where you are constantly moving and need to work accurately.
